ORANGE COUNTY — October 23 — Supervisor Andrew Do announced his support for Don Sedgwick’s campaign for Congressional District 45.

Do, a refugee who fled to America with his family after a brutal Socialist regime took over Saigon said, “With the complex issues we face internationally as a nation, we need a stronger leader to represent Orange County in Congress.  As a former refugee fleeing Communism in Vietnam, I saw first hand the need for strong leadership during difficult times.

“Don Sedgwick is a local leader and successful businessman; he has all of the qualities needed to represent Orange County well in Washington.

I whole-heartedly endorse Don Sedgwick for Congress.”

“Supervisor Do has always been a friend to Laguna Hills and the 45th Congressional District and I am humbled by this endorsement,” Sedgwick said. “I look forward to continuing our partnership to serve Orange County residents.”

Do has served on Orange County’s Board of Supervisors since 2015. He is one of dozens of local leaders to announce their support for Sedgwick, a jeweler by trade who serves as Mayor of Laguna Hills.
